Rev. Jim Eller – Minister Emeritus

During most of Rev. Eller’s career, he has been involved in justice seeking ministries, including Congregationally Based Community Organizing, peace work, non-violent activism, environmental advocacy, working with people living with AIDs and as an advocate for women’s reproductive rights.  Jim is currently the Vice President of the UU retired ministers and partners organization, UURMaPa and a member of the UU Funding Panel for a Just Society. In his retirement Jim is an advocate preacher for the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee.  He is also a regular preacher for several smaller UU congregations in Oklahoma.

Jim is married to Rev. Jeannie Himes, a United Methodist minister currently serving a congregation in Midwest City, Oklahoma.  They have two sons, Shuan and Sam.  Jim is an avid sailor and outdoorsman.
