Year of Service Projects

All Souls is planning a year of service projects to celebrate its sesquicentennial and our dedication to service. We encourage you to commit to community service each month. If you have ties to organizations please feel to commit your time and treasures to them. If you would like to join other All Soulers please join us for events below.

Harvesters Food Barrel- Found near the Volunteer Office
reStart Chest- in Connover (Anything besides food that can be used to help families and individuals get back on their feet.)

SEPTEMBER: 9/16-Gardening at Carver’s Butterfly Garden – Successfully Completed

9/23- Help a Hedrick – Deck, screen, and plumbing for elder member of the church – Successfully Completed

9/30- Help a Hedrick – Outdoor cleaning, gutters, AC cleaning, and yard work for elder member of the church

OCTOBER: 10/14- Christmas in October–Rebuilding Houses and Lives

NOVEMBER: 11/5-Film: Gender Revolution

11/26: Youth prepare the reStart dinner.

DECEMBER: An expanded mitten tree

12/16: Members of the All Souls children’s choir will take their holiday spirit to an area nursing home and sing for its low income residents.


JANUARY: MLK Day related project

FEBRUARY: Fundraising event for our partner church in Transylvania.

MARCH: Spring cleanup for Whole Person clients

APRIL: Earth Day project

MAY: Citizenship Clinic
