“The Neighbor: A Call To Social Justice” with Rev. Gerald Palmer
Exploring the call to leave our comfortability to serve others. Addressing the need for support, advocacy and activism in the areas of racial, housing, and economic inequality and all other forms of inequality.
Rev. Gerald Palmer, MSW, is the founder of Word for the Soul Ministries, an urban ministry created to break down the barriers of homophobia, poverty, blame, shame and pain.   Rev. Palmer has a vast background in ministry, HIV/AIDS, abuse, social work, social service, broadcasting and public speaking, and holds a Masters of Social Work from the University of Missouri Kansas City. In 2010, he self published his first book,The Church has AIDS: Essays on Sexuality, Sexual    Orientation, Taboos and the Black Church.
