March 15: “What I Was Wearing” Tori Jonson

The All Souls lobby art installation asks participants to understand that sexual assault is never about the clothes a survivor was wearing. The Forum will describe copies of the images for people to consider. Are our cultural expectations around acceptable sexual conduct really changing? What constitutes consent, and what does it mean for someone to be comfortable? And what do our young people think? One of our high school students will share about her art project, and the service will make generalized reference to women’s experiences of sexual assault.
