“Walking Beside: A Sermon About Being An Ally” with Rev. Lane Campbell

Rev. Lane Campbell

What does it mean to truly be an ally to someone?  This Sunday, we will explore how to be better allies in our community through speaking up and out for justice.  Following Justice General Assembly, we will hear some updates on the work there as people support  the rights of immigrants here in the United States.  Lane Campbell, guest preacher, will share some of her own story with us as well.

Rev. Lane is a lifelong Unitarian Universalist, who just graduated with a Masters of Divinity degree from Starr King School for the Ministry in Berkeley, California, finishing an internship with Shawnee Mission    UU Church.  Originally from the southeastern coast of Connecticut, her passions include art, literature, embodied theology, and ritual.
