Sunday Mornings
No matter how busy the All Souls community is throughout the week, Sunday mornings are the one time we all come together for Celebration of Life services in Bragg Auditorium. Early service is from 8:45 to 9:45; the late service is from 11:15 to 12:15. From early June thru early August we hold only our 11:15 service with Religious Odysseys at 10:00a.m.
Our services vary in theme from week to week – from personal introspection, to the joys and challenges of living in community, to services that inspire and rouse us to live our faith by working for justice in the world.
And you’ll find a wide range of music. We have everything from drumming, hip hop, rock and roll to Brahms and Mozart – music that supports the spiritual focus of the service.

At 10 a.m., between those two services, September through May, the UU Forum meets in Bragg Auditorium.
The Forum, Kansas City’s longest ongoing conversation, has offered a platform for the discussion of significant issues since 1943. Guest speakers typically focus on issues of political, social justice, educational and artistic significance. Each presentation is followed by questions and discussion.

During the summer months, we hold only our 11:15 service, while the 10 a.m. time slot is filled with our Religious Odyssey program. Each week a member of the congregation tells of his or her personal journey. The Odysseys tell of coming from diverse directions and finding commonality in the human experience.

Children are welcome in the bustle of Sunday morning. There are interesting activities scheduled during adult activities while the structured Sunday School begins at 11:15 with a fascinating curriculum staffed by knowledgeable and caring volunteers.
And all morning and into the afternoon, community is built and friendships are deepened in Conover Café where coffee, conversation and treats (sometimes lunch) are available.
