Sunday mornings are far from the only time the All Souls community comes together. We meet for services, socializing, planning, or just plain fun. Some regular gatherings are based on age, gender or interest. These groups are a profound way to connect with the community, foster church, and personal growth.
Demeters is a service and social group for all women of the church. The group serves memorial receptions and contributes to various church projects, along with fundraising. Usually, potluck dinners are held monthly on the third Tuesday at 6:30 pm in Conover for fellowship and planning. Currently, the group meets on Zoom Contact Dori Bader
Gnawing for Knowledge is a Wednesday sack lunch noon group. They meet at the church to view and discuss nonfiction videos to broaden their knowledge. Durring Covid they meet online.
HUUmanist Book Club meets the second Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m. We read and discuss books that are selected by the group. We show a movie in June and do not meet in July or August.
All are Welcome! Co-chairs: Carol Harsin
NeedleHearts Crafts, conversation and seeing friends are ways to reduce stress. If you enjoy knitting and crocheting please join us every Thursday from 10 until noon in Conover. We create 7 by 9 inch blocks that are matched together to make afghans for members and to donate to the larger metropolitan community. Scarves, hats and mittens are made for the children at Carver Elementary School. These are dropped off to the children by the staff on Saturdays.
