2020 – 2021 Religious Education
How Christianity Took Over
Join us for Rev. Kendyl Gibbons’ class on “How Christianity Took Over”. This class is held every Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 PM via Zoom, beginning January 27th through June 9th.
This course is our ongoing history of scripture Adult Religious Education series.
We have looked at the origins of both Jewish and Christian literature, and this season we will begin to consider the growth of the Biblical tradition in How Christianity Took Over, starting as a cult in the Roman Empire, and eventually dominating Western Europe and the Byzantine Empire. It’s an amazing story, full of colorful characters and amazing tales.
If you can’t make the class, no worries we have you covered. Click here for the How Christianity Took Over Video page. You will find the recordings of her classes beginning with September 23, 2020. We had a late start in recordings.
