Are you missing Sunday Plus Lunches? So are the cooks! They miss cooking for the church they love so they have decided to prepare a virtual Sunday Plus Lunch.
Welcome to All Souls Virtual Sunday Plus. We are doing this because we love to cook for you and to help raise funds for the church.
For delivery we have a 3 mile radius limit from All Souls.

Angie can also take orders over the phone. Call the church on Friday’s 10-3. Otherwise, leave a message and Angie will get back to you.

Quiche, Quiche, Quiche!
July 18, 2021, Sunday Plus The Sunday Plus menu will feature three kinds of Quiche.
- Classic Quiche Lorraine with Bacon
- Wild Rice and and Ham Quiche
- Garden Vegetable Crustless Quiche (vegetarian)
The side dish is Curried Couscous & Chickpeas and there will be an Italian Salad

June Sunday Plus
Pesto Chicken Penne with Alfredo
An amazing blend of flavors, this dish was the hit of the pandemic home cooking. Add artichoke hearts, sun-dried tomatoes, and spinach to the mix and this can’t be beat.
A fresh spring pea salad and dessert of either brownie or lemon cake make this a meal not to be missed. This meal is being prepared by the women of Demeters.
Please support this important group with your orders.
Deadline for June lunch is June 14th, 7 PM.
Pick-up and delivery will be Sunday, June 20th, in the afternoon after 2 PM.
May Sunday Plus
Cavatini Supreme – Tre buone! This fabulous pasta dish has three types of pasta, three types of cheese and three types of meat, Italian sausage, ground beef and pepperoni. The taste is similar to lasagna, but it is easier to eat. The vegetarian version will have trio of spring veggies.
The meal will include a wonderful antipasto salad and dessert.
Deadline for April lunch is Tuesday, April 27th, 7PM.
Pick-up and delivery will be Sunday, May 2nd, in the afternoon after 2 PM.
April Sunday Plus
Virtual Sunday Plus – April 11, 2021, pick up 2 PM. Deadline for ordering – April 6th, 2021 7 PM.
In April Grill Master Bill Raney is cooking again. He will be preparing some fabulous smoked chicken. His grill can accommodate a certain amount of birds, so order early. Dinners for 2 will get half a chicken along with Au Gratin potatoes, salad and dessert of brownies, cookies, or Rice Krispy treats.
We will also have chicken tenders and drumsticks for those who prefer or don’t get their order in early. Single meal orders will receive the tenders or drumsticks.
For the vegetarian we have a Farro Skillet with zucchini, corn, peppers and beans
March Sunday Plus
March 15, 2020, was the last Sunday Plus Lunch at church and the last time we were together for a church service. We are celebrating that milestone and the resilience of our community with a special Virtual Sunday Plus Lunch on Sunday, March 14, 2021.
There will be THREE main course options to choose from.
The Cassity sisters will be making Irish Beef Stew Cooked in Guinness.
Mark Gibbons will be preparing Corned Beef and Cabbage.
The vegetarian entrée will be Barley with Cabbage. We will also have salad and Irish Soda Bread.
Dessert options will include Irish Whiskey Bread Pudding with Irish Whiskey Sauce and as always, Rice Krispy Treats.
February Sunday Plus
Super Virtual Sunday Plus for watching the Super Bowl
We hope the Chiefs will be playing in the big game; but whatever team plays you can have a super dining experience with the February 7, 2021, Virtual Sunday Plus. Thanks for your continued support of our meals!
Pit Master and fellow member Bill Rainey will be stepping up the game with his famous smoked brisket. This meal is one not to be missed. My mouth is watering as I write this.

January Sunday Plus
Help us raise funds so we can continue our great works at Carver Dual Language School by ordering an All Souls Sunday Plus Meal.
This months proceeds will go to the Carver Dual Language School, a K-6 public elementary school in Kansas City MO, where volunteers from All Souls tutor, mentor, and provide funding for special projects and programs. If you would like more information, please contact All Souls member Carol Cowles at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We welcome members and friends from Christian Fellowship Baptist Church who also support Carver and also Carver teachers and staff to join us for this fundraising lunch!
December 6th, Sunday Plus – Yulebock Celebration
The traditional Board of Trustees sponsored First Yulebock of the season will have a different format this year, since COVID cases are increasing locally. On Sunday, December 6, our Sunday Plus meal will be FREE for everyone who orders, with compliments of the Board.
We will have Swedish meatballs (regular or vegetarian), with noodles and gravy, lingonberry jam, a zucchini side dish, dinner roll, and homemade holiday candy assortment from Lamar and Dixie Hicks.
Get your reservation in soon, and watch for announcements about fun ways to participate together that afternoon.

November Sunday Plus
“Peace, Love & Meatloaf”
Our next VSP Virtual Sunday Plus meal will be November 15. Place your order by Monday November 9. Join us in our annual our Veteran’s Appreciation Dinner. The Cassity sisters will be cooking a menu of classic comfort foods that have been favorites at All Souls. Our menu will include meatloaf, mashed potatoes, tomato gravy, lentil loaf (vegan entrée), green beans, apple coleslaw, and for dessert a cookie assortment. We will be introducing Anzac cookies.
The Anzac cookie was made in Australia and New Zealand then shipped to troops during both World War I and World War II. This is a tasty hard cookie made for dunking.
October Sunday Plus is Curry
Brought to us by Buddha Belly Chef a pop up Asian inspired food truck. They have helped our Hunger Outreach Team and Free Hot Soup.

Paul Kirk CWC, Ph.B., B.S.A.S., is also known as the Kansas City Baron of Barbecue – his website is www.baron-of-bbq.com. Chef Paul has won countless awards and is a seven time world champion! In the fall of 2015 Chef Paul was inducted into the BBQ Hall of Fame.
August Sunday Plus – Ordering Closed
The Cassity chefs are cooking again.
The menu will include some favorite recipes inspired by the Mexican food we all love.
On the menu:
Enchilada or tamale casserole, beans, rice, quinoa salad and desserts.
They are offering a s’mores dessert which they tested and say is delicious, as well as a Rice Krispy Treat or Cookies for alternate choices.
ALL proceeds support the All Souls Budget
Ordering will close Thursday evening July 23rd, 8 PM.
This month our chef will be Mark Gibbons, he will be doing a variety of quiches and soups.
Here is the menu:
Quiche, soup, salad, and raisin bread or English muffin and fruit cobbler for dessert.
Quiche can be ordered gluten free (crustless).
All vegetarian except Quiche Lorraine and Corn Chowder.
Vegetarian choices are designated by (V).
ALL proceeds will go to the budget.
Volunteers are needed to take the meals to the cars and for delivery.
